Holy Mediterranean sunset! Check out my sunrise in the Amazon picture in the Peru Gallery. It is the same SUN but it is two different world.

It is around 6-7pm in a beautiful February night, Tel Aviv. The sun started to set but it was still too bright. I have to double up two ND filters to stop down by 8 stops and set aperture to f18 and use a 30 seconds exposure. The only photo editing I did was a bit of straightening, cropping and increase the saturation a bit.

Machu Picchu; around 8am on a September morning. The cloud would come in and in an hour, the blue sky was gone.

Nabi Musa: Shrine of Moses. A boy was trying to lead me the way to see a "tomb" which was supposed to be the Tomb of Moses. He asked me to take a picture and then asked me to pay. I did neither. But as it turns out, according to Palestinian Muslims, that is the legend.

I took a series of these shots. The bird on the ground is a juvenile. You can see the fish in its parent mouth; trying to feed it. The bird on the left was flying down trying to steal the fish away. To me, despite the noisy background, this is the best picture of the trip. Probably because of the fact that I was in a speedboat --- the boat was rocking; I was changing my lens; birds were flying away, the light was all wrong and I was in the thick of this chaotic moment. It's a moment I am going to remember. Isn't that what photography is all about --- Remembering the moment?
